Ghazwatul Hind | All About Islam
Ghazwatul Hind is a prophecy of Muhammad, the last prophet of Islam , which states that a war will take place between Muslims and non-Muslims in the Indian subcontinent , in which the Muslims will be victorious. [1]

HADITH:
Narrated by Abu Huraira , Muhammad referred to India (then " India " meant the whole of India or the Indian subcontinent ) and said,
Surely a group of us will fight against India, Allah will grant success to the warriors of that group, and they will drag the kings in chains. And Allah will forgive those warriors (because of this blessed battle). And those Muslims will return they will find Jesus Ibn Maryam in Syria (Sham).
Abu Huraira said:
“If I had received that gazwa, I would have sold all my new and old goods and participated in it. When Allah (swt) would grant us success and we would return, I would be a free Abu Huraira; Who would return with the pride of finding Hazrat Isa in Syria. And Muhammad! It is my deepest wish that I could be so close to Jesus, that I could tell him that I am a companion of Muhammad."
” The narrator says that Muhammad (pbuh) smiled and said: 'Very difficult, very difficult' .
It should be noted that Ahmad Ibn Hanbal , Sheikh Naseruddin Albani (RA) called the hadith Sahih.
It is mentioned in the hadith that Muhammad said:
"Two groups of my ummah, Allah Ta'ala will save them from hell. One group who will fight in Hindustan, and one group who will be with Jesus Ibn Maryam." [ 2 ] [ 3 ] [ 4 ]
Also mentioned is Abu Hurairah saying,
"The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) promised us the expedition to India. If I get it (the opportunity to take part in that war), then I will spend all my wealth in it. And if I am killed in it, then I will be the best of the martyrs. And if If I come back I will be free from hell." [ 5 ] [ 6 ] [ 7 ] [The authority is weak (Zaif)]
On the authority of Hazrat Ka'b , Muhammad (pbuh) said,
"A king of Baytul Moqaddas (Jerusalem) will send troops to India and take away all its wealth. India will then become a part of Baitul Moqaddas (Jerusalem). Then the army of India will be presented before him under arrest. Almost the whole world will be under his rule. will be under. Their stay in India will be till the appearance of Dajjal”.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ's freed slave Hazrat Sawban (radiyallahu 'anhu) narrates that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said,
"There are two groups of my Ummah whom Allah has saved from Hell. One is those who will fight against Hindustan, the other is those who will be companions of Jesus Ibn Maryam.”

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ حَرِّضِ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ عَلَى الۡقِتَالِ ؕ اِنۡ يَّكُنۡ مِّنۡكُمۡ عِشۡرُوۡنَ صَابِرُوۡنَ يَغۡلِبُوۡا مِائَتَيۡنِ ۚ وَاِنۡ يَّكُنۡ مِّنۡكُمۡ مِّائَةٌ يَّغۡلِبُوۡۤا اَ لۡفًا مِّنَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا بِاَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٌ لَّا يَفۡقَهُوۡنَ ٦٥
O Prophet! Exhort the believers to war. If twenty of you are patient, they will win over two hundred, and if there are a hundred of you, they will win over a thousand disbelievers. Because they are people who have no sense (of right and wrong).

وَ قَاتِلُوۡا فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰهِ الَّذِیۡنَ یُقَاتِلُوۡنَكُمۡ وَ لَا تَعۡتَدُوۡا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا یُحِبُّ الۡمُعۡتَدِیۡنَ ﴿۱۹۰﴾
Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors. [Sahih International] - [Al-Bakara: 190]
