The special deeds and virtues of the prayers on Friday | All About Islam - Practicing Muslim

One of the acts of Jumu'ar day is to pray more and more to the beloved Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Issuance of deeds of Darood. Making Muslim believers interested in reciting Darood. In the Qur'an, Almighty Allah declared:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلِكَتَہ يُسَلُونَ عَلَى النَِّىِّ ۚ يَيُّهَا ٱلَّذينَ ءَامَنُواِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِمُواِ تَسلیمِّ

God and His angels They sent mercy to the Prophet. O believers! Pray for mercy for the Prophet and send greetings to him.' (Surah Ahzab: Verse 56)


This instruction of the Quran is for the believing Muslim. There are many virtues and dignity of salutations to Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. And there are special virtues and instructions in reciting Darood on Friday. It is mentioned in the hadith-

- Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, send more blessings on me on Friday. On this day, during the recitation of Darood, the angel appeared and this Darood was presented to me.' (Ibn Majah)

- Hazrat Aws Ibn Aws Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, Jumu'ar is the best of all your days. Hazrat Adam Alaihis Salam was created on this day. He died on this day. And on this day the trumpet will be blown to destroy the world and on this day it will be blown a second time to revive it. On this day you recite more blessings on me.

Your blessings will surely be presented to me. Companions asked, O Messenger of Allah! (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) How will our blessings be brought to you when you will become dust?

Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam replied, "Allah Ta'ala has forbidden the body of the Prophet for the land." (Abu Dawud, Nasa'i, Ibn Majah, Baihaqi)

Allahumma salli wa sallim ala nabiyina Muhammad



 
- Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, 'Recite a lot of durood for him on Jumu'ar day (Friday) and Jumu'ah night (Thursday night). Whoever recites Darood on me once, may Allah send down 10 blessings on him.' (Sahih Jame) So on Jumu'ar day recite more Durood on Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam -

‎الللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّد
Pronunciation: 'Allahumma salli wa sallim ala nabiyina Muhammad.'
Meaning: 'O Allah! May you grant mercy and peace to our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.'


- Hazrat Abu Umama Radiyallahu Anhu narrates, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, 'Recite more blessings on me on Friday. Because the blessings of my Ummah reach me on Friday. The person who sends the most blessings on me will be the closest to me on the Day of Resurrection.' (Targib)

- Hazrat Anas Radiyallahu Anhu narrates, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, 'Recite more Durood on Friday. Because Jibreel Alaihis Salam has just appeared with the message of Allah Ta'ala. Allah Ta'ala says -
'When a Muslim on earth recites Darud on you once, I send down mercy on him ten times and all My angels intercede for him ten times.' (Targib)
- Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that the Prophet, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, said, 'Pulsearat upon me will be light when it passes. A person who recites 80 times on Jumu'ar day, his sins of 80 years are forgiven.

In another narration, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Whoever recites this Durood Sharif 80 times after the Asr prayer on Jumu’ah,
recites:
N: 'Allahumma salli a'ala Muhammadinin Nabiyil Ummiyy wa A'la Alihi wa Sallimu Taslima.'
His sins of 80 years will be forgiven and the reward of 80 years of worship will be written in his record. Subhanallah! (Afzaloos Salawat)

- Hazrat Ali Radiyallahu Anhu narrates, 'A person who recites 100 times on the day of Jumu'ar on the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, will rise on the Day of Resurrection in such a state that people will see the light on his face and ask him what he did!' (Kanjul Ummal)
- May Allah Ta'ala grant the Muslim Ummah the Tawfiq to recite more Durood on Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam on this holy and virtuous day of Jumu'ar. Grant tawfiq to obtain the announced virtues by acting on the hadith. Amen.
